For the last couple of days some customers have complained about slow performance when sending email. We traced the problem to our primary DNS server intermittently not working properly, and thus forcing the software to use one of the secondary DNS server to resolve domain names.

To correct the situation we have changed the primary DNS server to one in good working order.

We have also changed the configuration of the application not to attempt to resolve domain names at the time message is being queued for sending. This change should insulate users from any DNS problems we may have in the future.
